Historicon 2019 Moves to... Lancaster?

In the midst of the latest storm and overinflated snowfall totals, the Board of Directors at HMGS snuck in a mid-afternoon annoucement.

Historicon 2019 will occur at the Lancaster Marriot & Lancaster County Convention Center.

Historicon® 2019 Finds a New Home
The HMGS Board of Directors are excited to announce that Historicon® 2019 will be hosted at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square & Lancaster County Convention Center.

Certainly a solid upsell to all those who love Lancaster, but hate the Host. Room rates are comparable with the Host and other "in-season" hotels. The prospect of paying for parking presents some new issues, but if people can run games at Origins and GenCon, everyone can come to an amicable arrangement that 49% will still gripe about.

Of course, they also didn't mention the actual dates for the cons... Obviously, there will be more to come.
